Clach finished their season in style clinching a Top
10 slot after coming from behind to Fraserburgh and making it a miserable final day of action for the Buchan side
Zac Conway scored the first of the game's ten goals. Despite wearing the No 3 shirt the youngster followed a long ball down the left side of the box. Colin Williamson let the ball run through to Stevie Dunn but the veteran custodian didn't come for it and Conway stepped in to knock the ball home.
Scott Barbour came close to adding to the score when he held off the challenge of Williamson on the left and his left foot shot narrowly missed the far post. While at the other end Sam Urquhart turned quickly at the edge of the box but his shot went straight into Jonathan Dunbar's hands.
Paul Brindle equalised in 21 minutes when he got in front of the Broch defence from an Allan Pollock free kick to flick the ball past Dunbar at his near post.
Five minutes later Sam Urquhart put his side ahead when he found himself unchallenged in the middle of the box to head high into the net. Urquhart is good in the air and the Broch players gave him licence to do the business
Scott Barbour equalised right after the resumption. Keeper Stevie Dunn could only hit the ball against Barbour from a short pass back and the no 11 walked the ball into an empty net.
However any hopes that Kris Hunter had of seeing his side go on from there were dashed.
Allan Pollock got on the scoresheet after playing a neat 1-2 with Scott Graham and finding the net with a left foot shot that went in of the far off post. Nine minutes later Paul Brindle got his second, a low cross from Urquhart and the young striker was left unattended and he ran in to smash the ball home from close range.
The strikers were by now running riot and with the goals coming more often than buses the attending public were getting their money's worth. Urquhart claimed the next one, glancing a header home from close range after Scott Graham had hit the ball in from an acute angle
Sam Urquhart then got his third and Clach's 6th of the game when he turned on the edge of the box and his shot found the bottom of the net helped by a slight deflection.
Scott Graham rounded it all off for the home team picking out the bottom corner with a fine left foot shot then while as the final whistle was looming Mark Cowie netted nothing less than a mere consolation netting from six yards.
A great finish to the season for Clach who finish the season in 10th position in the league.
