Clach go nap against eight man Strathspey

We started this game on the front foot with Martin Callum striking the bar with a free kick early on and we were to get our reward on 12 minutes when Sam Urquhart got on the end of a Bruce Milne cross and he sent a looping header into the net.

The game got a little scrappy as Strathspey came more into it and keeper David Harrison had to look lively to block a close range effort from Mattuesz Bobrowski, Although we had more of the ball and looking the more likely to score that second goal wasn't coming and it was Strathspey who almost got an equaliser on the stroke of half time but the Clach defence held firm to go into the interval with  a  slender one goal lead

Clach keeper Harrison had to look lively early on in the second half leaping to his left to turn a Strathspey shot round the post for a corner   The game turned in the 70th minute when Strathspey defender Fraser Tulloch picked up his second yellow card.

Then five minutes later things went from bad to worse for the Speysiders when Willie Ridgers brought down Clach striker Sam Urquhart in the penalty area and having been booked for that he then picked up a second yellow before the penalty was taken for dissent.

Andrew Klarkins came on to face the penalty from Sam Urquhart who drove the ball right down the middle to put Clach two up. It was a matter of how many now and it didn't take long to add to the score when Substitute Chris Ross shot home from the edge of the box, the keeper letting it slip under his body. Strathspey then went down to eight men when Joe Hardie received a second yellow.

Gordon Morrison then made it four when his close range header was fumbled by the keeper and it crept inside the post and just on time young Scott Chisholm scored his first goal for the club netting from close range after the keeper had parried a Chris Ross shot into his path.
